"What sparked you to write Childish Things? The Jazz fic? Dark Magic Bonding?"
With Childish Things, I think it was just the trope/cliche that pops up all over the place about how boys are meanest to the girl that they like. So, eventually that fic is about what would happen if Draco kept on behaving that way to Hermione in their early 20s, and it's 3rd person (probably Pansy POV) look at Draco's utterly catastrophic attempts to get Hermione to pay more attention to him. Hopefully a bit funny / a bit romantic / a bit sad (because a guy acting like that in his twenties is like a roving disaster).
Jazz Fic was from a detailed paragraph prompt that surexit wrote up, with Draco running a speakeasy and Ron as a private detective. It's mostly a fleshing out of her prompt, but with a Draco/Hermione spin. :)
Dark Magic Bonding is from...hmm...I can't really recall. I think I just wanted to write something about bonding and forced proximity, and have it be Epilogue-compliant. Ideally, I want this fic to have lots of older!Hermione and Draco attempting to put their lives back together. :D
